PROCESS DETAILS

Depending on the complexity of your project, it may make sense for me to send you some initial recorded ideas, or “proofs” demonstrating my direction, to ensure that we are on the same page based on what you seek.  An example would be sending you just a small section of a song (intro + verse or verse + chorus, etc.) to make sure everything meets your approval before I complete a song and/or a recording session.  This would likely occur if your music were unusually complex, or if you allow me a generous amount of creative freedom.

If you have any tabbed or charted ideas, please mention this early on in our correspondence.  Otherwise, I learn material by ear and will only inquire further if there are song parts I have trouble discerning.  I also ask to not hear any “scratch tracks” unless absolutely necessary as it is best that I don't hear anyone else's playing or recorded ideas prior to coming up with my own.  An exception would be that your previous Bass player did something you really liked, and you would like me to come up with something similar.  In that case, I would need to hear the reference.

END PRODUCT

As the final product, you will get high-quality WAV stems shared with you via Dropbox.  They are likely to have basic compression on them unless you specify otherwise.  I can also send completely “dry” stems, or fully effected, “wet” stems, depending on your preference.
